Yo guys!
I don't know if you know that the percussion ensemble had a practise last Friday, 8/08/2008. Actually, they practised their initial song for the National Day performance. But, at 5.30pm, Mr Wong changed it to another song! So, the whole percussion ensemble had to practise till very late. Aww, poor little things *puppy eyes*! Oh btw, housefly, you know you saved someone on that day? Hur Hur. If you wanna know more please find out yourself. Ha Ha.
NATIONAL DAY
Haw! When we reached Yew Tee at 7am with bleary eyes and running attire, we saw those who came early struggling with the lock! That irritating lock! Someone please change it! Or next time, we will call uncle to remove the whole door for us to go in.
Finally, the lock gave way and we got in! Ha Ha. Forgot which hero opened the lock, but anyway, thanks! Without you, we wouldn't get to enjoy the air con. Ha Ha. Then, we changed our shirts to the national day tee provided by YTCC.
When Mr Wong came, the percussion ensemble practised their piece for the performance. After a while Mr Wong got a sudden inspiration from a Tai Ji master 张三丰, and added in 太极拳 in the beginning of the piece. Ha Ha. Cool man!
At 8 am, we proceeded down to the YTCC hardcourt for the flag raising, morning workout (the great Singapore workout) and the walk-a-jog! When we reached the hardcourt, we did our own exercises led by Jun Wei, Jun Jie and Wei Ni! The theme of our exercise was Random! Jun Jie did Tai Ji, Jun Wei thought of dance steps to national day songs and Wei Ni did whatever that came into her mind.
When MP of Yew Tee, Mr Yeo came, the flag raising ceremony began. After that, he gave a few speeches. Then, the great singapore workout started!! We entertained ourselves with extra sound effects during the workout, such as the "1, 2, 3, 4, woo, woo, woo, woo!" workout step. I don't know how to describe that step in words, but anyway, it's just "1, 2, 3, 4, woo, woo, woo, woo!"
After the workout, everybody went jogging! Only those who are going to perform stayed back to decorate the instruments with Singapore flags! Hur Hur.
When everyone got back, the performers practised the Tai Ji steps behind the stage while waiting for their turn to go up. Others went to game stations, and those who were left behind entertained themselves by playing with Mimosa.
After the lucky draw, our percussion ensemble went up to perform their piece! When reaching the end of the song, the rest of us not performing went up to stage to prepare ourselves for the cheer! Right after the ending, we cheered the YTCO CHEER! You can look up the cheer in older posts.
After the whole program, we went to Yew Tee foodcourt for Brunch! There, we saw our MP Mr Yeo, and the CCMC there! We were so lucky, because Mr Yeo treated us to Brunch! Hur Hur. Thank you Mr Yeo!
A note of warning, if you are reading this, PLEASE DON'T FALL OFF YOUR CHAIR, even though it's quite unbelievable.
We went to JinJing's house to MUG after Brunch! I didn't go, so I don't know what happened there. If you wanna know more, ask around. Ha Ha.
That's all for yesterday! See you soon!
After performance, back in co room! All gone crazy=D

HELLO GUYS~
Today, we had another performance at the hard court opposite Lot 1! It's for the 43rd Hong Kah GRC National Day celebration. We performed 4 songs: 快马加鞭,上元节,龙的传人 and one last surprise piece, Rhythm of the rain! Why Rhythm of the rain? Because it was SWELTERING HOT, so we wished for RAIN! But in the end also no rain, so, never mind!
After the performance, while waiting for the coach to come and pick us up, we watched some dancers dance social dance. Flirt king fell in love with the girl with a blue top and white back(also the one nearest to us). HAHA. Flirt King 看到一个,爱一个。 无药可就
When we got back to YT, we played out signature game, the 海产拳! So we got our new comers: Ming wei and Yun Li to play with our old birds(oops, no offence). Ha Ha. Oh yah, during the 海产拳, angela and jeannine were chosen to go up mah, and then they played something else. The Chicken rice 拳? Something like [translated] "wanna eat chicken rice?" "what time is it?" and so on. I'm not sure of their hokkien in cantonese slang, and everyone didn't know what were they talking about, so, we played back our 海产拳. Hur Hur.
Then, we played our long abandoned game: the coin passing game! In the end, we had four people sitting in the ring -.- I've uploaded a video on the game! It's somewhere in the beginning, so only got 1 catcher. It was all very crazy! You'll know it if you were there. Ha Ha.
That's all for today!! see you soon =D
